The Government of Balochistan has taken a significant step towards improving public transportation and promoting environmentally friendly mobility with the launch of the Green Bus Service in Turbat city. The service was formally inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, during a ceremony attended by government officials, local representatives, and members of the public.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the introduction of the Green Bus Service reflects the provincial government’s commitment to modernizing urban transport and providing affordable, safe, and comfortable travel facilities to the people. He emphasized that improved public transport is essential for economic activity, social connectivity, and environmental protection.

The newly launched buses are designed to provide a reliable and efficient mode of transportation for residents of Turbat. The service is expected to ease daily commuting for students, workers, and families while reducing traffic congestion and carbon emissions in the city.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti noted that the initiative is part of the broader vision of the Government of Balochistan to expand modern public transport facilities across major urban centers of the province. He added that similar initiatives would gradually be introduced in other cities to ensure better mobility and sustainable development.

Local residents welcomed the launch of the service and expressed hope that it would greatly improve accessibility and convenience in their daily travel. Officials also highlighted that the buses are equipped with modern facilities aimed at ensuring passenger comfort and safety.
